The final project spring 2010

So this was what came of some of the initial drawings shown in a previous posting. I ended up having to build this sculpture in order to move in any direction with my work. Hope you enjoy I know I really enjoyed making these. The last few images were the prints developed from the sculpture.

Someday I will dance among these images… oh and it will be grand

The spring semester has been insane in the good sense of the word. I’ve become obsessed in every way with this world I’ve created and its begining to make complete sense to outsiders which  is so exciting. These are all the preworks as well as images derived after making the 3d pieces. Enjoy…

Roslindale Open Studios 2009

So this was my first open studios and it actually went rather well. I had a great group of people visit and even some support of local buyers. Great experience I hope to show at next years open studios as well!

Works that came before….

So all of these pieces are from the ending of 2008 and beginning of 2009 they were both finished pieces and studies which contained information or processes that are still referred to in my current work. Some of these drawings were collaborations with Kate liset who I believe is currently a student at the Museum School in Boston

Final Project 2009

These were the body of work that I showed in December. My work took a bit of a turn entering the world of errie and curiosity. Im currently continuing with this idea but a bit more abstract.

Obsession… thats what they call it I guess.

These are the newest pieces of work; which are about creating a world and exploring it visually. They are india ink washes with charcoal as well as some prints.

I refer to these pieces as obsession because they are the continuation of this idea I have been exploring for 3 years and were the pieces that came before the installation/sculptural pieces as well as graphite and colored pencils drawings which now have taken over every aspect of my creative mind.
